ABOUT

Annie Abramczyk (she/her) is a proud Delawarean with Polish and Texan roots but calls New York City home. She is a recent honors graduate of NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, where she studied at the Experimental Theatre Wing, the Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute, and Stonestreet Studios. Annie also earned a journalism degree from NYU’s Arthur L. Carter Journalism Institute. Her journalistic work ranges from theatrical and cultural criticism to investigative reporting. As an artist, she has worked with the International Theatre Workshop Amsterdam, The Prep NY, the Verbatim Performance Lab, and Yale Repertory Theatre. Recent credits include the world premiere of falcon girls, written by Hilary Bettis and directed by May Adrales at the Yale Repertory Theatre, where she originated the role of Rebecca. She was on the Drama Division staff at The Juilliard School from July 2023 to January 2025, where she served as the Artistic Programs Assistant and was a regular contributor to The Juilliard Journal. Annie is involved in many philanthropic pursuits regarding arts and society around New York City and is a committee member of Red Bull Theater’s Running of the Red Bulls Gala. Annie is a proud member of The Players. She is represented by Rebel Creative Group and Take3Talent.

When she is not acting, writing, or at the theater, Annie dabbles in film photography.

She is also an avid sailor with a valid boater’s license and spends most of her time around boats upstate with her fiancé, EJ, a professional offshore powerboat racer. You can find some of their content on Instagram at @rufstr_racing.

She also enjoys traveling, skiing, baking, high fashion, yoga, boxing, and horseback riding. She is currently learning how to speak Polish.

A fun fact about Annie is that she loves Mardi Gras and New Orleans!

Her favorite place in the world is Siena, Italy.

Her Shih Tzu Mochi is her best friend.

Annie is a method actor who has been trained in Jerzy Grotowski’s physical acting approach. She enjoys in-depth transformational work, often using her journalistic research and interviewing skills to bring characters to life.
